Appalachian Trail Overlook Hike 4 mi RT – Sat 12/12/20 9:00-12:30 pm
This hike on the Appalachian Trail is a beautiful winter hike to Buzzard’s Overlook. This 4.0 mile round trip hike is a rated as a 2 on a scale of 1 (easy) to 5 (difficult) by Hiking Upward. There is a wonderful new parking lot for this hike.
We will use COVID safety guidelines and ask people to wear a mask during the hike.

The hike will be an out and back journey to a expansive view of the Blue Ridge mountains and the Shenandoah Valley where we will have a snack and another time to soak in this expansive view to have some silence and inspire the soul.

Cathy has completed training as a Virginia Master Naturalist and finds solace and peace in the natural world that she enjoys sharing with others.
