• What we’ll do
The weather looks sunny with a high of 55 on Saturday! We will gather in the parking lot on this sunny winter’s day for a 3 mile round trip hike at Balls Bluff Regional Park.

We will enjoy a leisurely walk along a lovely hiking trail terrain will include hiking alongside the Potomac River and in the forest and bluffs just above the river. There are some ups and downs and the trail will be muddy is some places so will require good hiking shoes. There are no long steep ascents but some steeper hills to climb.

We will arrange a time for some Forest Soaking to deepen our experience in nature. https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2017/07/17/536676954/forest-bathing-a-retreat-to-nature-can-boost-immunity-and-mood
