Does the current situation you find yourself in make you feel like every day is the same? Kind of like Bill Murray in the ageless movie Groundhog Day? How are you dealing with the situation? Are you finding ways to embrace each day or are feeling stuck?
We will be using the movie Groundhog Day (or the character Phil’s journey)as the basis for conversation and present the following questions to get the conversation started.
Do you see spiritual messages in this movie? If so, what were those? If not, what do you think was the point of the movie? Does this message correlate at all with your life today? If so, how, if not, why not? How does compassion or spiritual beliefs shape your thought process throughout the day?
If you haven’t seen the movie no problem. Even if you have the link below leads to an insightful conversation with Eckhart Tolle (less than 7 minutes) on his thoughts about the movie. We are hoping that you watch it before the session but if you don’t, no biggie, we will play at the beginning of the session.
