EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Compassionate Conversations (formerly Beer, Conversation and Spirituality) will focus on listening, self-awareness, and learning from one another with non-judgment and non-striving. Compassionate conversations are not easy work, and yet we believe it is what the world needs most right now.

TOPIC:
A fresh outlook for a New Year:  With the new year upon us and so many distractions around us, how can we have hope for the future, stay present in the moment, and still find purpose in our lives and have a positive impact on the world?  Join in the conversation to share ideas to see past the turmoil, live in the moment and find purpose for tomorrow.

Practicing compassionate conversations is essential to healing our divisions so that we can begin to see that we are one human race agreeing on more than we think. Every month we bring forth topics and questions that provide participants with an opportunity to practice.

We loosely follow the book called Compassionate Listening – An Exploratory Sourcebook About Conflict Transformation. The topics in this book are presented by renowned pioneers in transforming the way the world handles conflict through compassionate conversations. We reserve the 1st 7-8 minutes for participants to join and will start the conversation promptly @ 7:08 pm.

YOUR GUIDES:
Dave Norman is one of the founders of Imagine Well Being and passionately believes in the transforming power of intentional community and mindfulness practice. He has many years of experience in contemplative practice and spiritual leadership. Dave believes in the profound importance of building bridges of understanding and compassion in this tumultuous time of change.

Pam Dilucente is on the Imagine Well Being Lead Team and believes in the transforming power of intentional community and mindfulness meditation with a focus on self-compassion.

With my RSVP, I hereby stipulate that I am physically sound to participate in this event.

I understand and agree that all classes, gatherings and workshops are undertaken at my sole risk and that Imagine Well Being guides and instructors shall not be liable for injuries or damages to my person or property arising out of or connected to any of these activities.

I authorize Imagine Well Being guides and instructors to call 911 in the event that I appear to require emergency medical care, and I assume responsibility for all associated costs.

I have carefully read this agreement and understand its contents. I agree that it is a complete release of liability for any injuries or damage that I may sustain due to Imagine classes, gatherings, and workshops.
