Details: This event will be held inside and outside. Please wear proper clothing in case it is chilly. Bring a mat, an outside chair, your lunch, a water bottle, a journal and wear comfortable clothes. Masks are required as well as social distancing.
This event is led by Dr. Suzanne Nixon, psychotherapist, meditation teacher and wellness specialist. She is teaching this seminar in partial fulfillment for her advanced teacher certification in Mindfulness Meditation with Dr. Tara Brach and Dr. Jack Kornfield.

11:00 – Morning Stretch Break
· Guided Meditation, Self-reflection, Journaling
· Anchoring Within – the power of breath as an anchor
12:30ish– Lunch
Afternoon Program
~Series of mediations/walking mediation practice and dharma talks
~Loving kindness / self-compassion / power of thoughts and application to taming anxiety
~Meditations – inside and outside
3:00ish 15-20 minute break
4:40 – Q & A and Closure
5:00 – Namaste
