Join us as we visit Shenandoah National Park’s Hawksbill Mountain Summit (highest spot in the park) via the Franklin Cliffs route – a nice blend of forest, streams, and spectacular vistas, culminating in the 270-degree vista atop Hawksbill Mountain, the highest point in the park (4051 ft.)
Afterwards, for those that care to participate, we’ll gather in nearby Sperryville for an afternoon lunch.
The hike is moderate+, and steep/rocky in places, so bring good shoes/boots, plenty of water, and snacks.
