Join us for a time of community learning about experiencing nutritious foods in new ways through spice, scent, texture and gratitude.
The experience will not be a meal but a primer on mindful eating introducing spice and texture to awaken foods that can often become commonplace. By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Learn techniques for mindful eating on their own and with their friends and families
2. Test their senses to identify flavors, scents, textures in their food
3. Explore the use of spices to enrich the cooking and eating experience
