We will gather to celebrate the holiday weekend by cultivating inner awareness and freedom through mindfulness in nature. The workshop will be held at Blueridge Summit Retreat (30 mins from Leesburg) on beautiful Mt. Weather near the Appalachian Trail. There is no charge for this workshop as it is a gift from Crossroads Imagine with the hope that lasting change in the world begins at the “grassroots” one person, family and community at a time.

We will continue with Gentle Yoga in Nature – no mat required and accessible to everyone

Cathy Norman is a Certified Virginia Master Naturalist, a mindfulness meditation instructor, a Hatha Yoga teacher (RYT 200) with 16 years of experience in contemplative leadership. She and her husband live about 6 miles from Sky Meadows State Park on Mt. Weather near Bluemont at their home, Blueridge Summit Retreat. Cathy believes that intentional time spent in nature is critical to our well-being in mind, body and soul. She oversees both the Imagine and Let’s Take a Hike Meetups.
