I am on the Board of Loudoun Interfaith BRIDGES and wanted to let you know this gathering is happening. It was planned last night as a rapid response within our local community.
I know many cannot attend but might want to hold the intention described below….in your heart.
Building bridges of hope with each of you,
Interfaith Vigil for Orlando Mass Shootings
Monday, June 13th 7:30pm
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling
22135 Davis Drive
Sterling, VA, Suite 105
Sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling, the All Dulles Area Muslim Society and Interfaith BRIDGES of Loudoun County
Gathering for Hope and Healing, Followed by a Street-side Vigil
The Interfaith Community of Loudoun County stands together to condemn the mass shooting in Orlando Florida, pray for the victims, and unite in hope for a more compassionate world.
The response to hate must be and love.
The response to violence must be peace, born of solidarity.
The response to loss must be grief followed by hope – hope in the more noble and generous world that we can build together.
