I really enjoy this hike as it has everything hikers wish for: overlooks, elevation, streams crossing, shelter/campsites, beautiful natural surroundings and a bail out capability 🙂 as it is a round-trip hike.
Sure, it is not an easy hike for everyone, very much strenuous but if you are in shape and equipped, I recommend you to knock it out from your bucket list.
We will start our hike from Bear’s Den Commuter Parking lot at 10 am.
We will cruise at time and also catch our breath on this part of the “AT Roller Coaster” 🙂
We will also take some moments in quiet to soak in the beauty of this season and the vistas along the way.
This is a 9.8 mile hike with 3,200 feet elevation from parking to Buzzard Hill’s Overlook and back. This is a level 4 (strenuous) hike. < — South North —–>

Please bring at least 2-liter of water, snacks and pack a lunch to enjoy together around a magnificent tree at Buzzard Overlook.
We look forward to seeing each of you who are able to fit this into your schedule.
