Mindful Relationships for the Holidays

We will gather at beautiful Blueridge Summit Retreat for a workshop to provide renewal in the beauty of nature along with practical tools and skills to strengthen mindful self-awareness and relationships with others especially during the holiday season.

Please dress comfortably and bring shoes appropriate for a meditative walk (no sandals, please). Pack a lunch and bring a snack to share with others.

Our workshop will include:

Guided mindfulness practices with a meditative nature therapy walk

An overview and experience of mindfulness meditation practice for daily living

A guided community outdoor experience to cultivate the journey inward and together.

A primer on mindfulness, conflict and safe conversations

The integration and practice of mindful conversations throughout the workshop.

Ron has been a lover of nature and an outdoor enthusiast for the last few decades and back in 2009, left an 18 year career in information technology so he could pursue his dreams and passions in nature and the outdoors on a full time basis. Currently, he works as a Sr. Park Ranger for NOVAParks at Algonkian Regional Park. In addition to his day to day duties, he runs all of the parks guided kayak tours and also started the Algonkian Nature Preserve which is a long term labor of love of his.
