This workshop will include classic Hatha Yoga (appropriate for first-timers and advanced practitioners), breath work and mindful meditation tools for anxiety and stress reduction. We will do some of our yoga practice outdoors, if the weather allows and include some time for a five senses mindful walk on the property. You may see the property at blueridgesummitretreats.org.
There is no charge for the workshop only the hope that an act of service will be shared with others as a way to “pay it forward”.
Cathy will be introducing the work of mental health therapist, author, and long time Hatha Yoga instructor, Boris Pisman – M.S. N.C.C. Please dress comfortably and bring shoes for an outdoor mindful nature walk.
Bring your own yoga mat (I will have extras available, if needed) and a small blanket or large towel for the meditation time.
