We will break up into small groups and rotate our nature hike and time at the fire to honor COVID safety guidelines.
We will gather at the Bear’s Den Hostel to celebrate and welcome the New Year with a journey inward, together and outward that promises renewal in mind, body and soul. We will practice COVID safety guidelines and wear masks during our time together.
We will meet in the upper Bear’s Den parking lot by the hostel (not the lower VDOT lot by Rt. 7)
We will enjoy a 2 mile round trip meditative hike, some gentle yoga stretches, a guided meditation at the beautiful Bear’s Den Overlook and a campfire near the hostel.
Please dress in layers and bring your own water bottle. I will provide roasting sticks, marshmallows and graham crackers…bring your own Hershey bar 🙂 I will provide roasting sticks and insulated sit-upons.
I look forward to sharing the gift of community and transforming mindfulness practices in nature on the second day of 2021!
