Each of us are yearning for peace of mind as we deal with the ongoing stress and many challenges related to COVID 19.
One of the most practical tools I can share is a 3 session (each a stand alone but highly recommend all three) class we are calling Stress Reduction through Mindfulness in Nature.
Science and medicine are confirming the multiple health benefits that mindfulness in nature can bring and we know that being outdoors is a safe way to care for ourselves during these times.
It is my goal to give you practical resources you can personally integrate whether you live in the city, suburbs or in a rural area.
During this hour I will share various practices to use on your deck, backyard or on your favorite neighborhood walk. If you enjoy hiking you will be able to apply these practices in your favorite destinations.
Take a moment to check out some of the practices we will be learning:
I have designed this time so that each session will include:
a. A brief overview of the mind body connection in nature (special focus on that week’s practice – 10 mins
b. Briefly introduce a nature practice for you to experience during this hour – 20 mins
c. Community sharing about what you observed and experienced during the practice – 30 mins
d. These practices will be available as a link on our Facebook page for you to share with family and friends!
