In restorative yoga, we place ourselves gently into restful positions supported by bolsters, blankets, or sofa cushions. We remain in the pose for about 5 minutes, which gives our muscles time to release tension.
The class will include guided meditation for stress reduction.
This class is open to both beginners and those who have practiced before.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Yoga bolster or
- Sofa cushion or
- Rolled up blanket (a weighted blanket would work well) or
- Rolled up yoga mat
- Eye pillow if you have one
- A strap or a bathrobe belt
Erika has been practicing yoga for 25 years. She is committed to mindfulness meditation and has experienced many aspects of yoga, including Restorative Yoga. A graphic designer for over 25 years, Erika has recently transitioned into a career as a Registered Nurse.
With my RSVP, I hereby stipulate that I am physically sound to participate in this event.
I understand and agree that all classes, gatherings and workshops are undertaken at my sole risk and that Imagine Well Being guides and instructors shall not be liable for injuries or damages to my person or property arising out of or connected to any of these activities.
I authorize Imagine Well Being guides and instructors to call 911 in the event that I appear to require emergency medical care, and I assume responsibility for all associated costs.
I have carefully read this agreement and understand its contents. I agree that it is a complete release of liability for any injuries or damage that I may sustain due to Imagine classes, gatherings, and workshops.
