We will meet Tuesday 10/31 and celebrate Corpse Pose (Shavasana) for Halloween 🙂
We will also enjoy a lighted pumpkin and some other fun as we gather for Serenity Hatha Yoga for Well Being – Enjoy a glass of organic cider after the practice!
There will be no class tomorrow night 10/24 as I am recovering from a cold and will not spread the germs.
We welcome first timers, ongoing friends and experienced yoga practitioners to this three week series! There is no charge for this class…we ask that you share intentional acts of service as a way to “pay it forward”. We believe growth in compassion, forgiveness, service and inner wisdom can change the world one person, family and community at a time. To learn more about Imagine Well Being and the vision for all these offerings, please visit our website at liveimagining.com.
We will meet in front of the big window at Crossroads to enjoy the beauty of sky and tree during our practice. We can accommodate a larger group as the experience is designed as a supportive, community yoga practice.
We will focus on breathing and asanas (postures) that will increase flexibility and core strength but also allow more time for Yoga Nidra (Deep Relaxation) to increase inner peace, calmness and stress reduction.
Check out this clinically based article on the benefits of Yoga including breath work and Yoga Nidra for survivors of PTSD. Yoga Nidra “Irest” is now taught at 30 veterans hospitals.
