Bring your yoga mat, hiking shoes a packed lunch and snack for a day dedicated to the practice of gratitude and thanksgiving as mindful, restorative practices through Hatha Yoga, Appalachian Trail hiking and a time of quiet meditation to end the day.
We will have a campfire at an AT campsite near Buzzard’s Overlook and roast some corn on the cob and apples to remember the first Thanksgiving feast.
The retreat will be held at Cathy’s home and studio near Bluemont on beautiful Mt. Weather. There is no charge for the retreat only a request to share an act of service as a way to “pay it forward”.
Cathy is a Hatha Integral Yoga instructor (RYT 200) and has studied mindfulness and meditation practices through her yoga training and the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction 8 week course.
