It is a joy to offer this class once a month to share the benefits of practicing mindful Hatha Yoga in a shared community of warmth and welcome.
We will be cultivating self-compassion, non-striving and awareness by exploring our limits without pushing through discomfort in any way.
Whether you are a first timer or experienced practitioner I trust you will find benefit from the mindful focus on body and breath proven to impact the autonomic nervous system. Please have a yoga mat and a large towel or small blanket.
During our hour together you will experience breathing practices, gentle yoga postures and deep relaxation we call Yoga Nidra. We will have a meditative image from nature remembering our body is a part of nature as we move through the practice.
Cathy is a RYT (200) in the Integral Hatha Yoga tradition and integrates mindfulness into the practice of yoga with a seasonal nature focus. She teaches mindful meditation in the tradition of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and is a Virginia Master Naturalist.
With my RSVP, I hereby stipulate that I am physically sound to participate in this event.
I understand and agree that all classes, gatherings and workshops are undertaken at my sole risk and that Imagine Well Being guides and instructors shall not be liable for injuries or damages to my person or property arising out of or connected to any of these activities.
I authorize Imagine Well Being guides and instructors to call 911 in the event that I appear to require emergency medical care, and I assume responsibility for all associated costs.
I have carefully read this agreement and understand its contents. I agree that it is a complete release of liability for any injuries or damage that I may sustain due to Imagine classes, gatherings, and workshops.
