Human-Centered Design is a practical, repeatable approach to arriving at innovative solutions.
From the beginning, Human-Center Design has been foundational to everything Imagine Well Being does through the creation of offerings that emerge from the participating community.
This approach has been described as allowing “solutions to social problems to bubble up from below rather than being imposed from the top.”
The Human-Centered Design process included three months of interviews, ideation and prototyping/implementation. The interview process revealed the following:
– High stress was pervasive and people were looking for ways to reduce stress.
– People wanted to feel re-connected to a greater purpose.
– People wanted a place to safely explore values and questions without judgment.
– Nature was a place where people experienced peace and renewal.
